Callas are not winter hardy in your gardening region so you'll need to dig and store them over the winter months, then replant in the spring. Sometimes it's easier to plant them in containers and then sink the containers into the garden bed each spring. After the foliage dies back in the autumn, you can lift the pots, remove the rhizomes, store them in sawdust or peat moss, and keep them in a cool, dark place. You can separate the rhizomes prior to replanting in the spring. Simply break them apart with your hands and plant each division on its own.
