Bulb Storage - Knowledgebase Question

I recently purchased some tulip bulbs and didn't realize they needed to be stored in a cool, dry place. Instead, I put them in my very hot garage. They've been there about 3 weeks.

Did I kill them? Or should I still try to plant them this fall?

Thanks!

I'd plant them in the ground now rather than storing them in a hot garage. If they have not sprouted and if they are not shriveled, they should be okay. Hope so!
