I have about 25 well-spaced newly planted shrubs that I drip irrigate. What is the easiest way to keep them fertilized?

Your shrubs can be fertilized once each spring, just as new growth begins. Since you're drip irrigating, you can install a feeder on the water source (holds pelletized fertilizer) or you can use a soil drench (liquid fertilizer such as Miracle Gro). I just sprinkle granular fertilizer at the base of each shrub and scratch it into the soil each spring. A time release fertilizer will slowly dissolve as the soil gets moist and will feed all spring and summer long. Enjoy your garden!
