What bulbs do well in southeast coastal Georgia?
I have had no success with daffodils or tulips.

Daffodils and tulips require a pronounced winter chill so they must be dug and refrigerated each year, then replanted in the late winter. There are lots of other spring flowering bulbs that do not have a winter chill requirement. Here are a few to try: Allium giganteum (Giant Onion), Anemone blanda (Greek Windflower), Chionodoxa luciliae (Glory-of-the-Snow), Convallaria majalis (Lily-of-the-Valley),
Crocus, Hardy Cyclamen, Endymion hispanicus (Spanish Bluebell), Winter Aconite, Fritillaria, Common Snowdrop, Amaryllis, Hydacinth, Spring Starflower, Iris,
Leucojum vernum (Spring Snowflake), Muscari, Scillia and Rain Lily.
