lrg pots of bulbs,(amhorillas?) which was here when I moved here last Aug,leafed up well but no blooms this yr. Seem crowded. If replanted in flowerbed will they flower? Follage pretty and green.?Pretty sure are amhorillas, same leaves as someI brought with me. |
Amaryllis typically blooms first and then develops leaves. When the leaves die down naturally the bulbs rest for several weeks, then develop flowers and then strap like leaves. If you want to move your amaryllis, wait until the foliage dies down on its own and the bulbs are dormant. At that time you can dig and replant them and they should flower right on schedule for you.
