Lots of people are afraid of bees but bees are necessary in our gardens. They pollinate flowers and that's an important thing! However, I understand that you don't want them nesting near your house! The easiest way to discourage their nesting is to hose the nests down as soon as you see them. Just use a strong spray of water from the hose and soak the nest. If you do this when they are first being built, and keep hosing them down periodically, the bees will find another place to nest. They don't like water in their homes! Best wishes with your garden!
