I planted 10 bulbs in the spring, only 2 flowered, all in the same area. What went wrong, when do i pull them up for the winter? |
I'm not sure what went wrong with your bulbs so you may need to dig them up after your first frost and check to make sure they are not mushy (over watering/poor drainage, or disease) and not eaten by insect pests. Sometimes if bulbs are planted too deeply they will fail to sprout and fail to flowr. If, after digging and inspecting your bulbs, they are still intact, store them in a cool dry place over the winter months and replant in the spring. |
