Wait until the seed pods turn a tannish brown and then cut them from the shrubs, open them up and you'll find ripe seeds. You can save the seeds until next spring or you can plant them right away. The seeds will be flat and narrow so place them just barely below the soil surface in a garden spot outdoors, or plant them in containers filled with potting soil. They will sprout in the spring. |
