You may have some success with foxglove, hellebores, hardy fuchsias, elephant ears and coral bells in the shady spot. If the water from the filter contains pool chemicals, the plants won't be happy in the ground but you can lay gravel or decorative rocks on the soil surface and plant in a collection of large containers. This way, when you bleed the filter, the water will drain down into the ground without affecting the roots of the plants. Best wishes with your garden!
