Hydrangeas grow and flower best when they receive about 4 hours of morning sunshine but shade from hot afternoon sun. If they get afternoon sunshine they can wilt and droop. They usually recover overnight, though, and look fine in the morning. For this reason I like to give them shade from afternoon sunshine. I hope your powels castle bush has another name. I'm not familiar with the common name so unless you can provide a botanical name, I'm not sure which shrub it is and what its growing requirements might be. Sorry!
