How can I get my mandevilla and bougenvilla to bloom?

Both plants develop flowers on new growth so pruning them back should prompt new growth and new flowers. They bloom on about a 6 week cycle: grow, bloom, rest, grow, and bloom. Try pruning them back now and you should see new flowers in about 4 weeks.
