Should I continue to fertilize my roses, impatiens, clematis, daisies, etc. since they are still in bloom? When do I stop fertilizing? I am using Miracle Grow. My plants are so vibrant and have such rich colors I don't want to stop too soon. Thank you for your help. Nancy M. |
I'd continue to fertilize the herbacious plants (impatiens and daisies) through the month of September, but stop feeding the woody plant (roses and clematis) in mid-September. These plants will begin to go into dormancy when night temperatures begin to cool down. Enjoy your colorful garden! |
