Should I continue to fertilize my roses, impatiens, clematis, daisies, etc. since they are still in bloom? When do I stop fertilizing? I am using Miracle Grow. My plants are so vibrant and have such rich colors I don't want to stop too soon. Thank you for your help. Nancy M.

I'd continue to fertilize the herbacious plants (impatiens and daisies) through the month of September, but stop feeding the woody plant (roses and clematis) in mid-September. These plants will begin to go into dormancy when night temperatures begin to cool down. Enjoy your colorful garden!
