| If you can't move the pot, you can try digging out all the old potting soil by hand then tipping the pot on its side and hosing out the remnants and debris. Once the pot is empty it should be easier to move if you'd like to place it elsewhere. If you're happy with its current location, simply refill it with fresh potting soil, water it thoroughly to help settle the soil, then dig a hole to accommodate your new plant(s).
