Can I put fresh mushrooms, onions and the stems from my basil, oregano and parsley in the compost tumbler? Thank you...they're in a vacuum container waiting for your reply. :~) Thank you!

You can add virtually any vegetable scraps to your compost pile. Meat and fat should not be added to the pile (they can attract rodents and they don't break down as readily as plant materials). Hope this clarifies things for you.
