PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS OF SEEDS TO PLANT FOR A WINTER GARDEN. I WAS TOLD THAT LETTUCE, CABBAGE, CARROTS AND BRUSSELS SPROUTS WERE GOOD FOR OUR AREA. HOPING THIS IS TRUE. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR IDEAS. THANKS

You're absolutely right! Any cool season crop will grow nicely if planted now. Leaf lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, radishes, Brussel's sprouts, kale, Swiss chard and green onions will all grow well in your fall planted garden. Enjoy!
