|When is the best time to trim/prune a gardenia?

|Gardenias bloom on and off all summer long so if you time your pruning right, you won't slow flower production. Try to prune between the flushes of blooms. If you need to do some serious pruning, springtime is best. But a simple trim can be done anytime during the spring or summer months. There's still time during this growing season for you to prune yours back.
