|I want to prune to lower branches off my Australian Bottle Tree but am unsure when to do this. Also, do I have to use pruning seal, or is Elmer's glue good enough?

|Australian Bottle Tree (Brachychiton populneus) responds well to pruning and if you cut the branches off completely, without leaving a stub, you won't need to use any sealer or glue to seal the wounds. The tree will callous over the wounds and seal them all on its own. You can prune now or any time during the winter months. Best wishes with your landscape.
