I just planted new tulip and other spring/early summer bulbs for next year. Did i plant them at a good time and how much should i be watering them if at all.Someone told me that i ddnt have to water since there not in the growing stage.

Now is an excellent time to plant spring flowering bulbs. And, your friend is right - you won't need to water your newly planted bulbs. They will rest until late winter/early spring. Enjoy your garden!
