I planted this gorgeous tree in the beginning of spring. It did fine, I even saw some new growth fairly quickly. Now the leaves are turning yellow and half of them are falling off!! I cannot lose this tree. HELP!!

Redbud trees naturally lose their leaves in the fall. Yours may be entering the fall months earlier than normal because of heat stress and the fact that it is relatively new to your landscape and has not experienced a fall and a winter in its new home. As long as your tree is getting adequate water, it should go into the winter months in good health and leaf out right on time next spring.
