what is a good time of year to prune fruit trees, crape myrtles, roses

Major pruning for fruit trees should be done in the winter time; crape myrtles bloom on new growth so prune them in the early spring, just as new growth appears; roses should be pruned in December or January and then periodically throughout the summer months when you prune off the spent flowers. Enjoy your landscape!
