i had a few problems with weeds this year. want to know the best process to get started now for a pretty green yard next year.also is the fall a better time to overseed or spring. |
Start by digging the weeds or using a weed killer on your lawn. When the weeds are dead, rake out the bare areas and overseed your entire lawn. Rutger's has an excellent publication on lawn care and maintenance that you can download for future reference: http://njaes.rutgers.edu/pubs/... The key ingredients to a healthy lawn are regular mowing, watering and feeding. A thick, healthy lawn will crowd out weeds before they can get a foothold. Hope you find the publication helpful. Good luck with your lawn! |
