|Once the temperatures drop and snow begins to fall, your lawn will go into dormancy and won't need any care at all. At this point just keep your lawn mowed on a regular basis so it won't grow long and flop over under the snow. If it is long enough to flop over it can kill the lawn beneath it so be sure to keep it mowed on a regular basis. Hope this answers your question.
