does the Rose Vervain need to be cut back in the fall, like rosebushes? Or do I just leave it alone?

After your first frost of the season when the foliage dies down you can prune your Rose Vervain - or, you can wait and do your pruning in the early springtime. Either way you'll see healthy new growth in the spring. Enjoy!
