HOW DO YOU GROW A TREE FROM A CHERRY SEED.IS IT POSSIBLE ALSO MY RHUBARB GETS LIIGHT AND IS GROWING GOOD BUT THE STALKS ARE ALWAYS GREEN WHEN WILL THEY TURN RED?THANK YOU RITA |
To some extent the color of rhubarb depends on the variety you are growing (for example MacDonald and Ruby are bright red, Victoria is green), but it also depends on temperatures. Cooler temperatures will produce more of the red coloring. You can plant a cherry pit just like you would plant any other seed. They can take up to a year to germinate, though, so mark the site where you've planted it so you won't forget and accidentally pull it up! |
