Composting - Knowledgebase Question

I know that I need carbon (leaves and other brown type material for composting but I don't have alot of that around. Is cardboard somthing I can supplement?

Cardboard and newspapers are reasonable substitutes for dried leaves in your compost bin. This fall, try to stockpile leaves so you have a ready supply for next summer.
