| Today, I planted 2 Hachiya Persimmon trees, and one Elberta peach tree. Should I start a fertlization program with them? How and what should I fertilize them with? How frequent? Thanks! |
| Your new trees won't need feeding until next spring. When new growth begins you can broadcast a slow release granular fertilizer such as a 5-10-10 beneath the canopy of the tree and scratch it into the soil with a rake. The amount you use will depend upon the size of the tree so follow the recommendations on the fertilizer label. Best wishes with your new trees. |
