|Hi. I live in Athens Ga, have a small backyard with a fence and would like to plant some shrubs along the fence line to give some privacy. I'm looking for something easy to maintain. It will have full sun and will be planted in clay on a slope. Perfect height would be 4'-8'. What do you suggest?

|Some good options to hide the fence are 'Bright N Tight' Cherry Laurel, 'Little Gem' Magnolia and Southern Wax Myrtle. Or you might try dwarf crape myrtles or 'Knock Out' Roses (make a good hedge and can be left unpruned or sheared periodically if you wish). Best wishes with your landscape.
