I'ts a little late in the growing season to plant seeds. There is not enough growing time between now and when winter weather arrives for seeds to sprout and grow. You might have luck with pansies or leaf lettuces, but not much else. Why not wait until next spring and sow your seeds then? That way your flowers or vegetables will have all summer to grow. Good luck with your garden.
