I stay in Chicago,Il and been trying to over seed my lawn and squirls keep come in digging hole only where there are bare patches at,How do I keep squirls out of my lawn. Thanks ahead. |
I'm afraid there's no easy answer. The squirrels are exploring the area to see what you planted and there's really no way to keep them from digging in your yard. Just keep overseeding the bare areas and eventually the grass will come up and the bare soil won't be so attractive to the critters. Wish there were a real solution but persistence on your part is really the best defense. Once the lawn is growing well the squirrels won't be quite so interested in it. Best wishes with your lawn! |
