|Should I cut back my Tickseed and lavender perennials this fall or wait until next spring? I live in zone 5.
Thank you for your continued help.
|We're always happy to help! Wait until spring to prune back your lavender. When the weather warms in the spring and new growth begins, shear your lavender back by about one-third. Tickseed Coreopsis will die down after your first frost. When that happens you can safely cut it down to ground level. Enjoy your garden.|
