We have marathon grass and people walk their dogs and allow them to pee on our grass which causes it to turn yellow and die. What can we do or purchase to deter this?

I'm afraid a short fence is the only way to stop the damage. You can try flooding the grass as soon as possible after the dogs urinate but that's probably not practical. I'd set a 3 foot tall fence along the walkway to discourage dogs from using your lawn as a bathroom. Or incorporate a boxwood hedge or other physical barrier to keep dogs out of your yard.
