I ask the question previously. But I did not state that I do not come back home until the end of March. Can I still cut these back after then? I was told that I need not cut them back before I leave. I leave the end of Dec. and stay south for 3 months. Will they still come back if I cut them back in late March or early April?

March is early enough in the spring to cut back your plants so they will develop new growth for the new growing season. They should be just fine in your absence.
