|My Ptilotus Joey and Dessert Rose (new to our yard this summer) are changing their looks. How do I care for them in these cooler months. Joey is losing color. Dessert Rose is losing leaves and blooms. I don't want to lose these plants. What do I do?

|Your Joey will eventually lose all its flowers and leaves and will rest over the winter months but will resprout again in the spring. Your Desert Rose is also responding to the fall weather by going into dormancy. Expect it to lose all its leaves and rest for a few months. It will develop new foliage after it has rested. You won't need to do anything special for either of your plants. They will both sprout again in the spring. Enjoy!
