Do I need to do anything particular to winterize my knock out rose? I live in Zone 5 and am under the impression that I don't even need to trim it back. I'm planning to just mulch at this point and trim it back in Spring after the last frost. It's still blooming like crazy and looks beautiful! :-)

Thank you.

Go ahead and follow your plan. Pruning should be done in the late winter when the roses are dormant, or in the early spring when new growth begins. Mulching around the plants is a good idea. It will help insulate the main stems and the roots of the plants. Knockout roses are relatively maintenance free and are bred to be winter hardy in your gardening zone. Enjoy your Knockout roses!
