If you're thinking about erecting a windbreak around a plant, the easiest method is to drive 3 wooden stakes into the ground, equally spaced, on the windy side of the plant and stapling or otherwise securing some burlap to the stakes. Burlap is the material of choice because it allows for air circulation and it drys quickly after a rain. Second material on the list is an old cotton sheet. Hope this answers your question.
