Passiflora edulis ?Frederick? is the premier fruit producing passiflora so if your plant is flowering but not producing fruit there may be a problem with pollination. Insects need to visit each of the opened flowers in order to transfer pollen. To increase the number of pollinating insects in your landscape, avoid spraying chemicals and try to have lots of flowers in bloom throughout your garden. The open flowers will encourage bee activity and with any luck they will visit your passion flowers to help them develop fruit.
