I bought a mint herb plant today that is in a 4 inch pot. Since it's going to grow up to 24 inches can I transplant it into a 10 or 12inch?

Your mint is a vigorous grower and will send out lots of roots. It's important to keep it potted so it doesn't overtake your garden. You can transplant it from the four inch pot to a one gallon size now (10-12 inch pot). It will grow into the pot within the next growing season. Enjoy your mint!
