Pomegranate - Knowledgebase Question

If I plant a pomegranate tree by seed, will it fruit? And also, will the fruit need pollination or not. Lastly, how long will it take it to fruit rather than a cutting or air layer?

You can plant pomegranate seeds in the ground and they will germinate quickly. A tree grown from seed can actually develop fruit in 2-3 years. Set the seeds about 1/2 inch deep and keep the seed bed moist. Good luck with your project.
