I bought a honeysuckle from HD last spring and it didn't grow or flower at all, was it because of our weather? I kept it in the sun and watered it. It was loaded with flowers when I bought it. Thanks. |
If your honeysuckle is not growing or flowering, it's unhappy in its present location in the garden. As a rule, honeysuckles need all day sunshine and regular watering. These plants flower on the new growth of the season so prune yours back by one half next spring and you should see lots of new flowering growth. Make sure it's getting lots of sunshine and has ample room to spread out its roots. Good luck with your honeysuckle! |
