making allamanda bloom - Knowledgebase Question

I planted an allamanda in a large pot while in bloom. the plant grew and appears healthybut it hasn't had ant flowers in a couple of months. I can use so advice.

Allamanda blooms best when it is potbound. If you transplanted yours into a larger pot you'll need to wait until the roots fill the pot and become slightly stressed. When this happens, it will bloom it's little head off! About the only other reason for failure to bloom is inadequate light. I'd leave it in the pot now that it has adjusted to the move and feed it lightly with a bloom booster type fertilizer. Eventually it will produce those lovely flowers. Enjoy!
