I would like to plant my Hyacinth Bulbs in a large outdoor pot for next spring bloom. Is it best to keep the pot in the basement for the winter or leave the bulb planted pot outdoors all winter?

Your hyacinth bulbs are cold hardy and can be left in the container outdoors all winter long. If you're concerned that your container won't winter over well outdoors you can keep it in the basement and keep your hyacinth bulbs in the refrigerator until February. You can plant them in the container in February and set it outdoors. The bulbs will bloom right on time.
