I have followed all your instructions on winterizing my potted shrubs. I placed them in a spot on my patio that will protect them the most from wind; however, I noticed this area gets no sun. Should I move them to a sunny location even through they will be exposed to more wind? I live in Chicago.

Thank you so much.

I'd choose wind protection over sunshine. This is because your plants will not be growing at all during the winter months and won't need the sunshine and because wind can dessicate stems, twigs, branches and needles/leaves which will cause them to die. I'd leave the plants right where they are. Enjoy your garden!
