Hello, I have some real big Holly Bushes that I want to trim way back. When is the proper time to do this? |
You can prune your holly back in late winter or early spring. If you prune it back now it may develop new growth (if the weather is warm enough) and then if the weather gets cold, all the new growth will be susceptible to dieback. I'd just wait until late winter or early spring. Then when the weather warms up, your hollies will put out healthy new growth. Enjoy your garden! |
