Some of our garden got nematodes and we are using the natural guard and black plastic after we pulled out our plants...but how do we prevent it from happening to our spring garden as it really made a disaster out of our winter garden. Thanks

Unfortunately there's no easy answer! Crop rotation will help, as will using nematode resistant vegetable varieties. The University of Florida recommends using transplants rather than starting vegetables from seeds. The more mature root systems will be less susceptible to nematode damage.
