I have recently planted Confederate jasmine and Downy jasmine to use as a ground cover. Do you think it will work? anything special to do?

Jasmine grows well as a groundcover. All you need to do is water your new plants deeply once each week and they should establish well in your landscape. Not much else is needed to ensure healthy growth. Enjoy your new plants.
