I have a lots of weeds now in my front and back lawn. I asked the gardener to spread weed killer today but he told me winter is not the right time to do that, he will need to wait until summer. Is he correct? What happens if he did it now? Please advise. |
You can kill weeds in the wintertime in your gardening region because your weather remains warm enough all year around that the weeds and the lawn never really stop growing. As long as you're continuing to water and mow your lawn on a regular basis you can apply weed killer. Hope this clarifies things for you. If your lawn and the weeds have gone dormant for the year, the weed killer won't be as effective. Hope this clarifies things for you. |
