|I transplanted a small dogwood tree in late November. I am wondering how I should water it since the temperatures are cold. Does watering in winter hurt the shrubs/trees?

|I'm glad you asked! Landscape trees and shrubs need about one inch of water per week. Water your tree once a week until the ground is frozen. At that time you can stop watering until the ground thaws. When it does, be sure to water your tree deeply once each week throughout the growing season. Enjoy your dogwood tree!
