The following astringent varieties of persimmons are self-pollinating: Fire Crystal, Giombo, Hachiya, Hao River, Lindy's Giant, Patapsco, Sheng and Tamopan. Self pollinating non-astringent persimmons include: Fuyu, Giant Hanafuyu, Gwang Yang, Imoto Fuyu, Jiro and Tam Kam. There are two hybrids also considered self-fruitful: Nikita's Gift Astringent and Rosseyanka Hybrid Astringent Persimmon.
