I have a New Dawn white climbing roses - do I cut it back in the spring as with my others roses? |
New climbers usually need only light pruning the first 2-3 years so be careful not to prune it back too hard. The stems and leaves it develops over the first 2-3 years will help the roots develop so they can support the plant. You can prune it back in the early spring just as you do your other roses. |
