|Could you please e-mail me instruction on how to plant tomatoes and peppers. This is our first time trying a garden.|
|Both prefer a sunny, well-drained spot. If you can mix a few inches of compost into the soil prior to planting, that will be great. |
Set pepper plants at about the same level they were growing in the container. Tomatoes can be set a bit deeper if you like. Give them all a good drench of liquid plant food after planting to settle them in and get off to a great start.
Keep feeding them with a liquid plant food every time you water for a week or two. Then back off and wait until the first fruits begin to set before resuming the fertilizer applications.
Thanks for the question!
